Train the Trainer

This one-day workshop is designed to equip participants with the skills and confidence they need to develop, prepare and deliver effective training courses.

Content will be varied according to the needs of the participants, but will include: 

  • Giving of a short, off-the-cuff presentation
  • Discussion of key principles of training adults
  • Learning how to stay confident and in control
  • Critical oral communication and group management skills
  • Making effective use of audiovisual tools such as PowerPoint
  • Techniques for managing disruptive individuals
  • Preparation and delivery of a 10-15 minute work-related presentation, followed by structured, constructive feedback on various elements of the presentation.


Presentation Skills

Train the Coach

This one-day program is designed to equip participants with the skills and confidence they need to coach staff or conduct on-the-job training.

Content will be varied according to the needs of the participants, but will include:

  • Key elements of coaching
  • Putting an on-the-job training program together
  • The coaching continuum
  • Styles of learning
  • Effective 2-way communication
  • Preparation and delivery of a 10-15 minute 1-1 coaching session followed by structured, constructive feedback on various elements of the session
  • Key principles of effective coaching
