In December 2004 Nick developed and conducted a one-day training program in Presentation and Facilitation skills for staff of the Workplace Advisory Service at the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
In August 2003 Nick conducted a 2-day business planning workshop for staff of the Corporate Services Team of the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission.
During May and June 2003 he assisted senior executive staff of the Criminal Justice Division of Attorney Generals Department in the development of a three-year strategic plan for the Division. The process included three half-day workshops involving a cross-section of staff from all levels and areas of the Division.
In February 2002 and then again in May 2003 Nick facilitated a 2-day conference on Complaints Management for staff at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation. His role included the development of case studies, facilitation of the conference, the writing of the final report , and (in 2002) the presentation of a training session on Conflict Management .
In early 2003 Nick conducted a one-day Team Building program for staff in the Masters of Project Management at Defence Materiel Organisation.
During 2002 Nick facilitated a series of Team Development workshops for all eight work teams at the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission. These workshops included an overview of key characteristics of effective teams, as well as opportunity for staff to develop specific strategies for addressing areas of concern.
In late 2002 he provided a similar service for staff at the National Industrial Chemicals Notification & Assessment Scheme, and separately for staff at the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Scheme.
From July 1997 to June 1998 Nick was engaged by the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies to assist them in the development of a new Corporate Plan and a Service Charter. This including facilitation of the following:
